Sound is great and there are 6 different modes .You have got up to 4 internal mics that can be used to record (see the manual) .Can record up to 4 gb of music.In USB mode you can connect the device to any type of computer. Battery life is solid. It’s not too big and not too small.
The ZOOM H2 is an amazing recording device that is the size of a deck of cards, has no moving parts, makes high quality recordings, is easy to use and is surprisingly inexpensive. You can record at CD quality(.wav) or at slightly lower levels (MP3). Two AA batteries are good for four hours of recording as long as your SD memory card is up to the task. A click of a button starts the recording and clicking it again stops it. With a click of another button you determine which of the four excellent built-in microphones you want to use for the desired stereo effect or for the quadrophonic mode. The included manual is well written and informative. For those who don’t like to read manuals, there is a quick-guide which is more than adequate for many of your recording needs,
